February hails the end of the game season and to see it out in style Phil invited a group of guys to the shop in Shaldon for a butchery demonstration evening.
The theme being wild game,
The evening started with a display of game ,pheasants,wild duck,partridge,woodcock and rabbit.
The guys were shown how to dress pheasant ready for the table,Ben Miles even had a go and seemed pleased with the result.
After a short break for refreshment Phil produced a carcass of venison which he cut into joints and steaks explaining about the different cuts and methods of cooking.
The evening was a great success and finished in a local hostelry.
The money raised from the evening went to Shaldon pre School.
